Gibbs Cancer Center and Research Institute is a nationally recognized cancer treatment and research facility. Gibbs Cancer Center is a proven leader in providing effective cancer treatment through advanced technology, professional expertise and an exceptional level of personalized care.
Mobile Meals of Spartanburg glorifies God by providing nutritious meals, services, and fellowship to the frail and homebound citizens in Spartanburg County. Mobile Meals provides 1,200 seniors a nutritious meal each weekday using 130 volunteers to deliver the meal to their home.
Roper Mountain Science Center, the most unique organization in the Upstate focused on science education, is exceptionally positioned as a public-private partnership (with Greenville County Schools) to: deliver curriculum-based, hands-on learning for students, offer inspiring “edutainment” for the public and produce state-of-the-art training for teachers.
The Neighborhood Cancer Connection's mission is to connect people to free, integrative services that can meet their emotional needs, relieve financial burdens, and equip them for the most successful journey through cancer. All funds raised for the organization are used to support local cancer patients; we are not affiliated with any national cancer organizations.
Kimberly Brown is the anchor of the 7NEWS 4:00 and 5:00 weekday newscasts.
She joined the station in June of 2017, and she previously anchored the station’s popular weekend morning news.
Kim relocated to the Greenville/Spartanburg area after working in Augusta, GA.
Originally from Ohio, Kim is the recipient of many broadcast awards and honors.
Alexandra “Alex” Baldwin, who has nearly 30 years of experience in the sports industry, will be entering her fourth year as the president of the Korn Ferry Tour in 2022 after originally being appointed to the role on Jan. 30, 2019.
As president of the Korn Ferry Tour, Baldwin is the first female in history to lead one of the PGA TOUR’s global Tours.
She originally joined the PGA TOUR in 2017 as the vice president of corporate partnerships, where she was responsible for the marketing partnership team and overseeing key partner account teams including Morgan Stanley, Dell and Rolex, among others.
Prior to joining the PGA TOUR, Baldwin served as a corporate consulting executive at CAA Sports in Jacksonville Beach, Fla., working with major brands on their strategy and activation plans in sports and entertainment.
Before she joined CAA Sports, Baldwin was with Boston-based Fenway Sports Management, consulting clients and driving sales efforts around premier golf properties, including the Deutsche Bank Championship.
Her career in the sports industry began in 1992 as an intern with International Management Group (IMG), where she eventually became an agent, representing LPGA stars Karrie Webb and Suzann Pettersen, as well as PGA TOUR winners Brad Faxon and Carlos Franco.
After her parents immigrated from Italy, she was raised in Milford, Conn., and speaks Spanish and Italian, in addition to English. She then attended Bates College in Lewiston, Maine.
Baldwin and her husband, Eric, reside in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. and have one son, Max, and one daughter, Olivia.
Sheryl Wilkerson currently serves as vice president of government affairs at Michelin North America, Inc.
Prior to this role, Wilkerson established three businesses including, president of Willow, LLC, where she advised global wireless, telematics and automotive companies on government affairs, and served as senior vice president of strategic planning and corporate services at Ygomi, which develops software for automated driving and ADAS.
Before joining the private sector, Wilkerson spent more than a decade in roles throughout the U.S. federal government, including the Senate and House of Representatives, Federal Judicial Center and the Federal Communications Commission. Wilkerson is a member of the U.S. Supreme Court Bar, American and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and Registered Corporate Coach ™ (RCC™) Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC).
Sheryl has experience in corporate governance and is very involved in her community. She advises and serves on several boards of directors, including Energous (NASDAQ: WATT), GreatCall, Inc.; U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (Washington, DC); Masters of Transportation Safety and Administration, Technical Advisory Committee, Graduate School, Clemson University; Chair, U.S. DOT Intelligent Transportation Advisory Committee; Doorways; The Intelligent Transportation Society of America; The LPGA Foundation, The Executive Women’s Golf Association (LPGA Women's Amateur); LPGA Amateurs Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Group; and Aaron Ardoin Foundation Supporting Sickle Cell Research and Education. Sheryl was inducted into the 2016 African American Golfers Hall of Fame.
Aja Evans began bobsledding in 2012 and won Olympic bronze in Sochi just two years later.... She earned USABS' Team of the Year Award in 2017 with Jamie Greubel Poser. Aja holds a bachelor's degree in Sports Management from the University of Illinois.

Media personality Lauren Thompson currently serves as host for Golf Channel’s GolfNow and Clubhouse Solutions digital platforms. She is also well known for her work as a host and anchor with GOLF’s Morning Drive and NBC’s The Champion Within.
Lauren hails from Orlando Florida, where she was born and raised within a close-knit family. The daughter of a former nurse and teacher, and a member of the class of 2000' Lauren graduated from Bishop Moore High School. She chose to stay local to Florida, and enrolled for college at the University of Central Florida on an Academic Scholarship. Lauren was a member of the Generation Donation, Alpha Delta Pi sorority, and served on the PanHellenic Executive committee. She graduated in 2005, with Order of Omega Honors.
Being raised in the world of science and following in her Mother's footsteps, Lauren was set on becoming a nurse, but her ambitions quickly changed after trying her skills in local modeling & spokesperson projects. Regular print work soon followed, but Lauren was looking for a different kind of challenge. With few a commercials and some voiceover work, she found the perfect fit.
Lauren loves reporting, researching, and the producing on-camera television projects. Now in her tenth year with Golf Channel, she is a self-confessed "golf nut", and takes regular lessons with Andy O'Brien at Windermere Country Club.
One of her favorite parts of the job? “Hearing about others who are also taking this game ‘head on’. Golf is not easy-it will challenge every bit of you- but that's what keeps us coming back for more. It's a game you can take up at any age, and enjoy for the rest of your life”, says Lauren. “The game grows with each new golfer, and my job is promote the game.”
